Ting Zheng

Before founding Zelkova Law, she practiced at an Am Law 100 firm, where she gained experience in a broad range of legal matters, including intellectual property, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation.

Her work included drafting and reviewing intellectual property and data privacy agreements; responding to government regulatory inquiries and assisting with product recalls; preparing and responding to demand letters; handling pre-litigation disputes and settlement negotiations; and working on trademark and copyright litigation.

She also brings a background in business and finance, having worked in corporate accounting, private equity, and an early-stage startup. Her private equity experience included establishing a U.S. firm's representative office in Shanghai.

Through these experiences, she developed a practical, business-oriented approach to legal problem-solving. She understands that effective legal counsel requires not only sound legal judgment, but also an appreciation of the client's business objectives, risks, and resources.

At Zelkova Law, she brings this perspective to every engagement, helping clients identify legal issues early, evaluate their options, and pursue practical, cost-effective solutions.
